What Is Different About Dr. Zaidi’s Blog?
A graduate of the most prestigious medical college in Pakistan – King Edward Medical College – Dr. Zaidi has practiced medicine in three continents: Asia, Africa and North America. He has received Post-Graduate training in the field of Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Endocrinology.
Initially, Dr. Zaidi was your usual Board-Certified internist, trained at Wayne State University in Detroit. During his practice as an internist, he observed a frequent association of Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and high triglycerides. To pursue his quest, he sold his thriving private practice of internal Medicine and moved to UCLA. where he received his training in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism. Subsequently, he became the medical director of the Jamila Diabetes and Endocrine Medical Center. In addition, he also pursued his academic career as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Zaidi’s Journey To a Holistic Healer
Dr. Zaidi gradually realized there is more to healing than the superficial medical approach. With his quest to figure out the root cause of diseases, he made some groundbreaking discoveries. Some of these discoveries are: how to cure Graves’ disease, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, and Type 2 diabetes. Dr. Zaidi also made significant original contributions in the field of vitamin D.
Gradually Dr. Zaidi realized that stress is a significant contributing factor for most human illnesses. That led him to the journey of discovering the root cause of stress.
Subsequently, Dr. Zaidi developed a new holistic approach to healing – SNEVM – an acronym that stands for Stress management, Nutrition, Exercise, Vitamins, and Medications only when necessary. He employed this new approach in his medical practice and saw some amazing results. Now, he could truly heal and cure illnesses instead of simply prescribing drugs. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing patients get rid of their diseases.
