Yes, but only if it is done right. The holistic healer must understand the principles of healing, not just in his mind, but also in his body and spirit. In addition, the holistic healer himself must be a living example. Only then it works.
Dr. Zaidi is such a living example. He was a successful medical doctor in the USA when he embarked on the spiritual journey on his own. One evening in January of 2005, he finally found the Truth while he was walking in a neighborhood park. At a spiritual level, he experienced the True Creator – the Divine – or whatever label you want to give it. Since then, he lives a life free of emotional burden. Instead, he feels a glow of unconditional love, peace and joy in his heart.
Thanks to his emotional and spiritual health, he is free of any chronic physical illness. At the age of seventy, he is one of the few people who is not on any medication.
What are the ZIOHH Principles of Holistic Healing?
Here are the basic principles of ZIOHH:
- Health consists of spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being.
- For every disorder, there is a root cause. You cannot cure a disease until you treat it at the root level.
- Most chronic illnesses develop due to lifestyle factors (along with a genetic predisposition), which are a product of your Acquired Self.
- Your Acquired Self is the basis of all your emotional stress, which wreaks havoc on your body, mind, and soul.
- You are not born with your Acquired Self. Instead, you acquire it as you grow up in society; hence, the term Acquired Self. In contrast, you are born with a True Self, which is your default setting from the Real Creator.
- The Collective human mind has created a collective human world which is conceptual and virtual, but everyone is so taken by it that they don’t see its conceptual, virtual nature.
- In contrast, there is Real World, created by the Real Creator.
- Your Acquired Self is an offspring of the human Conceptual, Virtual World. That’s why it stays trapped in the human Conceptual, Virtual World.
- Human Conceptual, Virtual world is the basis of all human divisions, conflicts, and sufferings. It is also the root cause of global warming, atmospheric pollution, and spiritual pollution.
- The secret to stress-free living is to stay anchored in the Real World while functioning in the human Conceptual, Virtual World.
- Utilize your Acquired Self to function in the Conceptual, Virtual World, but put it to rest when you are alone. Pay attention to the Real World by using your five senses: what you see, hear, smell, taste, and touch. Also pay attention to space, silence, and stillness, the canvas for the painting of the universe.
- Listen to your body every day. It will tell you what is right and wrong with it.
- Be the witness of your thoughts and emotions. Simply observe them without any interpretation or judgement. Don’t chase them.
- For every beginning, there is an ending in the material world. This is the law of the Creator.
- The physical body has to come to an end one day, but the soul does not die. However, it carries all the emotional imprints created on it by the Acquired Self.
- Take care of your soul everyday. Your morning affirmation: “Today I shall not add any emotional burden on my soul.”
- Use common sense – our Innate Intelligence – to solve problems in your daily life.
- Realize you are an extension of the Real Creator. It is neither matter nor energy. It simply is! It witnesses everything including the soul. However, the mind – and science – can never figure it out.
- The purpose of life: In the physical realm, try to reproduce, as life lives through life forms. In this way, you propagate life. In the Psycho-Spiritual realm, rise above your Acquired Self, re-discover your True Self, do not add any emotional burden to your soul, and experience the Creator.
- Remember, whenever you go against nature, you pay the price sooner or later.

Stress Free Living
Stress is the main factor for all human Diseases, in one way or another. Here are some practical tips to be free of the stress of daily living:
- Simply rise above your Acquired Self. The Acquired Self is the root cause of all emotional stress. Once free of its tight grip, you become free of emotional stress.
- Live in the Now.
- Do meditation twice a day. Re-ignite the flame of Unconditional love inside your heart. Also feel peace inside your chest.
- Clearly see the distinction between the Real World – created by the Creator – and the Virtual World – created by the Collective Human Acquired Self.
- Stay anchored in the Real World while interacting with the Human Virtual world.

Healthy Nutrition
- Eat balanced food.
- Stay away from extreme diets. Stay vegetarian if your ancestors have been vegetarian. Similarly, stay non-vegetarian if your ancestors have been non-vegetarians. Why? Because your DNA carries all the information from your ancestors including their eating habits and adaptation to certain foods.
- Consume fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, wild fish, grains, lentils, beans, nuts, eggs, milk, cheeses, butter, ghee, olive oil, avocado oil, and almond oil if you were raised in a non-vegetarian family. Avoid meat if you were raised in a vegetarian family.
- Watch out for food sensitivities that some people are developing these days, largely due to processing of food. Cow’s milk is one such example. If your body does not agree with cow’s milk, try goat’s milk. Try to grow your own fruits and vegetables.
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, tobacco, and recreational drugs.
Exercise
- Exercise regularly such as walking, jogging, running etc.
- You may want to do some weightlifting once, twice or three times a week. Keep your muscles toned up. Try to go to a gym. It helps to meet fellow human beings in a gym.
- Try to play some social sports such as pickleball, tennis, basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball, cricket, hockey, etc. It not only provides a good cardiovascular workout, but also builds friendships. Social interaction is so important for our emotional and spiritual health.
- Try to stay away from competition, at least in your mind. Don’t get trapped into a win-lose game of the mind. Play a sport to have cardiovascular exercise, skill, good reflexes, comradery, and mutual respect. Playing a sport is one way to stay in the NOW.
Sleep
Sleep at least eight hours every night. Our body – physical, emotional and spiritual – rejuvenates during restful sleep. Most people suffer from insomnia as they are in the grip of their Acquired Self. They keep looking at a screen after sunset, whereas no other life form in nature has developed this crazy behavior. As a result, your brain keeps thinking it is daytime. There are many reasons why day is followed by night. One main reason is for your brain and body to rest. If your brain does not sense the darkness of the night, it does not produce chemicals that lead to a calm, deep sleep.
Stay away from sleep medicines or even so-called sleep supplements such as melatonin.
Sexuality
Like all other life forms, we humans are sexual beings. Sexuality is a fundamental law of nature. Simply look around and see for yourself how all life forms engage in sex once they reach puberty. Unfortunately, most societies have created negativity towards sex. Society then downloads its version of “permissible sexual behavior” into your Acquired Self. Society tells you how, where, when, and with whom you may have sex or otherwise you will be punished. This is one of the ways society tries to keep you under its control.
Stay sexually active. Don’t suppress your natural sex libido. However, respect your society’s rules about sexual relationships.
Don’t be afraid to express your sexuality. However, find a way that society allows.
Express Yourself
Humans use music, paintings, sculptures, and drawings to express their feelings. It brings them an inner peace and joy. Therefore, express yourself. You can do it in many ways: try to play some musical instrument, do some drawings, try some paintings, etc.
