Nutritious Recipe for Ulcerative Colitis
Looking for a nutritious recipe for ulcerative colitis? Here is one of my favorite recipes which I consumed a lot – with breakfast, lunch and dinner – when I was having ulcerative colitis. My ulcerative colitis is now cured – thanks to my holistic approach, SNEVM.
Almond Muffins Recipe for Ulcerative Colitis
Preparing Time = About 15 minutes
Cooking Time = About 30 minutes
Recipe makes 12 small muffins.
Blanched almond flour = 1 cup
Eggs (white only) = 4
Bananas = 3
Ghee, melted = 3 Tbsp
Salt = ½ tsp
Baking soda = ½ tsp
Cardamom powder = ½ tsp
Mix all the ingredients in a blender. Pour batter into paper baking cups placed in a muffin tray.
Bake at 325 0F for 30 minutes. Check if fully cooked. You may need to cook a few minutes more or less, depending on your oven.
As diarrhea improves, you can add one peeled apple to the recipe.
With further improvement in your diarrhea, you can increase the amount of apple to 2 peeled.
If you develop constipation, stop bananas and use unpeeled apples and regular almond flour.
